Haryana government has expressed it willingness to make available one liter milk to every person per day in the state. “At present, only two crore litres milk is available for a population of 2.5 crore in the state,” said state animal husbandry minister Om Prakash Dhankar on Tuesday. After a meeting with Australian high commissioner Patrick Suckling, Dhankar said they are considering to register a brand on the lines of Australian company ‘a2 Milk’, which offers high quality milk.
